Social Action presents Project of the Month: “Spin a Little Love”

We provide Chanukah and Christmas gift purchases for a needy Temple Solel family as well as 2-3 Military families to help them celebrate the holiday season. Paper dreidels with various information as to what the families would like to receive are hung on the large menorah in the Temple Solel lobby.

AIPAC Breakfast

Join Rabbi Linder and Temple Solel at the 2011 AIPAC Phoenix Annual Event, Sunday, January 30th.
Registration begins at 9:00 am; program 10:00 am - 12:00 pm featuring David Horovitz, Editor-in-Chief of The Jerusalem Post, with special remarks by Reverend Dr. Dee Dee Coleman, Pastor of Russell Street Missionary Church, Detroit, Michigan.
The event will be held at the Arizona Biltmore Hotel (2400 E. Missouri Avenue in Phoenix). The cost is $55 per person; dietary laws observed.

JNF Walk for Water

Raker Religious School Family Programming and Jewish National Fund

Parents will be accompanying Sunday-school students to Tempe Beach Park that day for a regular Sunday-school session of fun learning opportunities. Students should bring their coin-filled Blue Boxes with them to the park that morning. There are special activities and projects planned, especially for preschoolers, and you can even bring your leashed pets! The community walk will begin just after the noon hour.
